Amanda Mendieta
Club Manager
Amanda received her bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology and master’s degree in Health, Physical Education and Recreation. Amanda began working as a Jr. Lifeguard and Swim Aid at the age of 14 and expanded into the field of Parks and Recreation. Her favorite program always being Aquatics. Amanda has sat on several professional pool operator and aquatic director boards, primarily serving as event coordinator for conferences and lifeguard games (basically a 40 team Lifeguard Olympic Competition amongst local pools) as well as holding scholarship, secretary and treasurer positions. Her most recent facility Albany Aquatic Center was regularly featured in Aquatics International Magazine for their diverse programing and rapid speed training techniques for lifeguard and emergency safety training. Along with her staff she developed a swim school program that served over 150,000 students over the past 10 year, many progressing onto our USA Swim Team or into Lifeguards and/or Swim Instructors for the facility.
Amanda was a three-sport high school athlete and a two-sport collegiate athlete. Amanda loves going on any type of outdoor adventure, but her favorite adventures involve being on the lake wake-surfing with her family.
Amanda and her husband, Jason, have two daughters Gracie (6) and Gabriela “Lela” (4). Amanda is extremely excited to join the Greenway Club and AMG Family and hopes to meet everyone soon!
Felicia Nicolosi
Accounting Manager
Felicia was born in Long Island, NY, and lived there until the age of 10, when she and her family relocated to upstate NY near the Adirondack Mountains. In October 2020, after 31 years of being a New Yorker, she and her family moved to North Carolina. She has a mix of both city and country lifestyles, so she is adjusting well to a new state. Felicia and her husband have one daughter and 2 dogs.
At the age of 13, Felicia started her working career in the restaurant industry. At the age of 14, she began work at New York’s largest water park, Enchanted Forest Water Safari in Old Forge, NY. This was her summer job for 4 years and was one of her favorites. In 2014, she accepted a full-time position with a fuel and propane company, which is where she gained her administrative, office, and management experience.
Felicia joined the GWC family in November 2020, as our Accounting Manager. She is profoundly grateful to be a part of the GWC family!
